Most effective in the range of medium brown to dark brown hair colors. Often used to mix with red-based shades such as Mahogany and Walnut Red Brown to cut the red and darken the color result. Do NOT use by itself on hair with any blonde or gray. If you do, you might well be faced with the very difficult problem of removing the green from your hair.
